12mins: Callum McManaman gets his head down and sprints at the full back, but his cross sails behind the goal. Good initial run from the winger.
11mins: A flurry of free kicks fro minor infringements in the last few moments and they're starting to break the game up a lot.
9mins: Nick Powell takes a tumble running towards goal off the ball, but Derby win a free kick on the near side for a foul by James McClean. All very fats and furious the start to this game. Latics need to settle quickly, they don't look nervous, but Derby look full of confidence.
8mins: Boyce heads clear and Latics break.
8mins: Derby putting pressure on as they win the first corner of the game.
6mins: Some good passing interchanges just inside Derby's half, Will Keane drops deep to collect the ball, opening space up for Watson to shoot, but it's wildly over the bar.
4mins: Latics' first attempt at an attack sails out at the left post as Watson attempts a lofted free kick into the area.
Not the ideal start for Latics by any stretch of the imagination. Bryson's set piece is right into the top corner, Nicholls almost gets a touch. Derby lead and Latics have work to do.
1min: Oh no! Ramis is down injured on the edge of Latics' area after James McArthur committed a foul on Simon Dawkins and the pair fell into Ramis' legs. He looks like he'll be okay to continue!
The players are ready to go. Ivan Ramis got a huge cheer when his name was read out, as did our debutant Will Keane! COME ON LATICS!
He is indeed! The team is as follows - Nicholls, Crainey, Watson, McClean, McManaman, McArthur, Boyce, Powell, Ramis, Barnett, Keane.
Excited to see Ivan Ramis back guys? And Will Keane starting?
Hi Tana, hi Brazilian Tic. Great to see you guys have followed us over from the old Cover it Live format to Latics Wall!
Good afternoon over here America! What's your score prediction?
I think we're in for a good game. If we can build on the first half performance against Zulte Waregem we could really spark something good up this afternoon.
Raff, fill me with your usual optimism?
Two contrasting views there guys, how come you think that Ryan?
